November Monthly Meeting

November allowed us the opportunity to hear the latest from the exchange programme & Trevor Moutray's trip to Wales - An enlightening experience for him & for us - i'm not sure how many players would be left if we adopted the Welsh "zero tolerance" policy towards industrial language. Then onto the UEFA clip show hosted by David Malcolm, who picked on some poor unfortunates for the answers to the questions.

Calendar

The 2008-09 Season Calendar is available here. Colleagues are invited to review the calendar and advise the appropriate individual - Alan Snoddy for IFA competitions and Brian Dumigan for CAFA competitions - where you know now of future unavailability during the coming season. Obviously unavailability through injury or unforeseen personal circumstances cannot be legislated for, however, for those who already have a holiday in the diary or will be attending an event with a long lead in time such as a wedding, please advise accordingly now

Referee Insurance

Please find below a link to your referee insurance documents

Each referee is covered by 2 types of insurance cover - public liability and personal accident. A copy of the personal accident insurance schedule is attached for future reference. Referees are reminded to conduct a thorough pre match inspection of the field of play and also to keep a detailed note of any serious injury sustained by any player during a game. The note should also record the weather, condition of the field, your position when the incident took place & any other pertinent information

Any insurance related query should be quickly directed to the Secretary - Trevor Moutray
- particularly potential personal accident issues as claims against the policy are time barred.
